 Duke
TIP strives to give every academically qualified student the chance to
participate in our programs, regardless of financial situation. Your
support and generosity help us provide need-based assistance to many of
the thousands of gifted students who would not otherwise have the
opportunity to participate. Please consider making a gift today to help
give the next generation of students the Duke TIP experience.
Duke TIP Star Teacher Gift Club The Duke TIP
Star Teacher Gift Club for alumni and parents honors a Star Duke TIP
Teacher who has had a significant impact on you as a former TIPster or
on your son or daughter's educational experience. With a gift of $250
by June 30, 2011 in support of the Friends of Duke TIP, we will notify
and recognize your TIP Star Teacher in the TIP Honor Roll of Donors in
2011.
Garrett and Bennett Klein Memorial Fund The
Garrett and Bennett Klein Memorial Fund was established in 2004 by Duke
TIP alumna, Stacy Stansell Klein, in memory of her husband and son.
Stacy attended a TIP summer program in 1983, 1984, 1985, and 1986 and
was on the TIP staff for four summers, 1989-1993. She also was a
contributor to the TIP Algebra I and Algebra II Learn on Your Own
Courses and in 2005 was a recipient of the Duke TIP Distinguished
Alumni Award. Her memorial fund provides tuition assistance to a
participant in the Duke TIP Summer Studies program who is a fourth year
student, financially needy, and taking a course on Duke’s East Campus.
Priority is given to participants from either Mississippi or Tennessee.
Contributions can be made to the fund through Duke University’s secure
online giving website (see below).
Individual Giving Duke TIP is grateful to the
many individuals who help support its educational mission. Through your
donations, gifted students with financial need are given the
opportunity to rise to their full potential through one or more of our
programs.
Organization/Business Giving Organizations small
and large have helped Duke TIP in a number of ways. Through donations
of equipment, time or financial support, various groups have played a
vital role advancing Duke TIP's educational mission. Some donors have
enabled matching contributions or scholarship endowments from their
employers. Others have found ways to provide materials needed for
particular Duke TIP courses. At Duke TIP, we welcome various kinds of
assistance.
How to Give If you wish to donate, you may do so online via the Duke University secure giving site. Please be sure to designate your gift to DUKE TIP. If you wish to send a contribution by mail please download and print the Annual Giving Form (PDF).
